Accreditations

ECBC is registered with theDfES (Department for Education and Skills)and accreditated by many intitutions and awarding bodies that recognize our satisfatory tuition, facilities and students services. Following are the bodies or intituitions that have approved our college as a tuition provider or accredited college and also an examination centre for their courses:


The British Accreditation Council

BAC was established in 1984 to act as the national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. It is independent both of government and of the colleges with which it accredits.

BAC 's Council includes nominees of a number of the major bodies concerned with the maintenance of standards in British education, including the Association of Colleges, the British Council, the Council of Validating Universities, Universities UK, the Chartered Institutes, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and UKCOSA.

The British Computer Society

Established in 1957, the British Computer Society (BCS) is the leading body for those working in IT.
With a world-wide membership now over 65,000 members in over 100 countries, BCS is the qualifying body for Chartered IT Professionals (CITP). BCS was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1984. Its objects are to promote the study and practice of computing and to advance knowledge of and education in IT for the benefit of the public.BCS is also a registered charity. BCS is licensed by the Engineering Council to award Chartered Engineer status (CEng) and Incorporated Engineer status (IEng); and more recently by the Science Council  to award Chartered Scientist status (CSci).
 

UCAS - University and Colleges Admission Services

UCAS is the central organisation that processes applications for full-time undergraduate courses at UK universities and colleges. ECBC is a member of UCAS.


IAM - Institute of Administrative Management

The Institute of Administrative Management has been – for 90 years – the leading professional and awarding body for practitioners in administrative management. The institute has a clear commitment to providing appropriate qualifications for its members at all levels, qualifications that contribute towards the achievement of personal and professional goals, the Institute is therefore delighted that the A British University, in collaboration with the IAM and Management Development Partnership, is offering a dedicated progression route at degree level to holders of the IAM's Advanced Diploma. The IAM is delighted to welcome you to this program and sincerely hopes that it will prove to be of great benefit to you in your career development.

IMIS - Institute for the Management of Information System

The IMIS is the leading independent professional association for both users and developers of today's information technologies. IMIS is known for its focus on the practical issues involved in the application and management of information and communication technologies. The IMIS Examination Syllabus, leads to one of the most highly sought after and respected IS professional qualifications in over 50 countries around the world. It gives you also access to the final year of the B.Sc. in Computer Science by Hertfordshire (external program) taught in ECBC.

ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

The ACCA is the largest global professional accountancy body, with nearly 300,000 members and students in 160 countries. ACCA's headquarters are in London and it has staffed offices in 31 countries. Founded in 1904 in London, ACCA's mission is to provide quality professional opportunities to people of ability and application, to be a leader in the development of the global accountancy profession, to promote highest ethical and governance standards and to work in the public interest.


 

CTH - The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality

The Diploma and Advanced Diploma Management Programmes offer supervisor to management level qualifications which are recognised by universities and employers involved in the hospitality and tourism industries. Centres can run any of the programmes below.


University of London

 

The University of London is one of the oldest and largest universities in the UK. Founded in 1836 it is one of the most respected academic institutions in the world and the quality of its degrees is acknowledged and respected across the globe. Students studying at ECBC will follow one of their external undergraduate programs, but will be assessed to the same standard as those studying at the University itself and, on graduation, will receive a full University of London degree.
